Marketing & Photography Release of Information Declaration

The participant in the [VENTUREDASH CHALLENGE NAME] , hereafter referred to as “Participant”, and their parent or legal guardian, hereafter referred to as “Guardian”, agrees to the following Marketing and Photography Release of Information to be used by the [ORGANIZATION] for the purpose of promoting the successful delivery of services to entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The Guardian and Participant agree to provide pertinent information to [ORGANIZATION] for the purpose of preparing a news release for distribution to other Resource Partners and media outlets as determined by [ORGANIZATION]; Information for the news release will be obtained primarily from the Participant’s Executive Summary, corresponding documents and presentations given during the competition, the community representative and judges, and previously published information;

[ORGANIZATION] will disseminate a news release and related information to external media outlets only after the event has concluded and results have been announced;

In addition to disseminating the resulting news release to media outlets, [ORGANIZATION] may distribute all or part of the news release and related information to organizations, networks and individuals via Email, [ORGANIZATION] and third-party Web sites, blogs, instant messaging, chat rooms, message boards, etc.

The Guardian and Participant agree to grant [ORGANIZATION] (hereafter known as "Photographer") the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs that they have taken or may take of my minor child or in which my minor child may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media and for any purpose; and to use my minor child’s name in connection with any use if they so choose.

I release and discharge Photographer from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. I am a legally competent adult and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read this document and fully understand its contents. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs and legal representatives.
