Change score visibility

Hosts have the option to allow each business to privately view their own scores within the platform, and they can also decide whether the business can see a judge's comments on their scoring rubric. This choice is entirely up to the host, but we recommend allowing businesses to see these comments so that they can identify areas for improvement. If you intend to make judge comments visible to students, it's always considerate to inform the judges about this – or at least review the comments before approving scores to ensure that nothing too critical is shared with the business.

A judge's scores and comments can be show or hidden at any time.

To access score visibility settings click the "Edit" button on the competition "Details" page.

Once on the edit form, use the "Business Scores" and "Leaderboard" sections to adjust the visibility of scores.

Some hosts will keep all scores hidden until they are ready to "reveal" all scores and judge comments to businesses. Other hosts choose to show all scores from the start so that participants can see the leaderboard change in real time as scores re approved.
